We hope you and your loved ones are doing well in this difficult time. Our thoughts go especially to those of you who are on the front line in this sanitary crisis: medical teams, workers in the food sector, essential businesses, public services ... as well as all those who are directly impacted by this epidemic.

In these circumstances, Machefert Group wish to swing into action and provide support in this fight against the COVID-19. Our priority now is to do everything to protect you, your families and loved ones, but also to support our hospitals and our health-fighters.

Our Group offers more flexibility for your booking and launches a new solidarity initiative: #OPERATION SOLIDAIRE

Due to recent developments with the Coronavirus epidemic (COVID-19) and in order to protect our employees and respect the quarantine, we have closed 19 establishments among our 22 properties.

In accordance with decree n° 2020-315 published on March 25th 2020 by the French Government we offer to our clients a free voucher in exchange for any stay normally planned during this quarantine, valid for the next 18 months.

Machefert Group joins the collective effort of solidarity in this first-of-its-kind period of crisis. One of our Parisian hotel has been reopened to welcome hospital staff with a 100% voluntary approach and with some partners in 100% solidarity.

15 group employees have volunteered to lend a hand and provide the necessary service to these health-fighters who risk their health to save ours. Finally a dozen suppliers and partners support us by offering free products to carry out this operation.

We have invited our suppliers and partners to support us in this solidarity operation in order to provide hospital staff with food products which are used for the preparation of their meals during their stay in our hotel and kind attentions to warm their generous heart during this very difficult period for them. We warmly thank the companies that work with us: Alain Milliat, Andros, L'Arbre à Pain, Café Richard, Malongo, Anthes, PRIM’FRUIT, Comtesse du Barry, Picard, D-Vine, Hotusa, GoCater.

To demonstrate their solidarity with people in need during this epidemic, such as the homeless, who are even more in distress due to quarantine measures, the 1K Paris teams provide them with a few packed lunches each day available in front of the terrace of the Inka restaurant.

The Paris Tourist Office asked our Group to accommodate Moroccan nationals stuck in France. The Kingdom of Morocco has instructed its Embassy in Paris, that its nationals traveling on our territory for professional or private reasons should be accommodated during the quarantine period. Currently, they occupy 15 rooms at the 1K Paris hotel and 18 rooms at the Normandy Le Chantier.

The Covid-19 crisis is terrible for many people and particularly dramatic for the staff in medical retirement homes, the only link now with our dependent seniors during this period of quarantine. For this reason, the Alzheimer Research Foundation has decided to set up a fast and effective funding initiative: SOS EHPAD (sosehpad.fr) to help these everyday heroes.

The goal is to help them concretely in their daily life according to everyone's needs (meals, taxis, accommodation...). Machefert Group supports particularly this campaign. Everyone can contribute in their own way by offering services, making a monetary donation or simply by sharing the initiative.
